| About 506 Crew:
506 Crew is
a dynamic Reggae Band based in Central Florida. They
have ignited the state with their brand of Contemporary,
Dancehall, and other styles of Reggae music.
Simultaneously, they sooth the souls of their fans with
sensual original ballads. The leader of 506 Crew, Tony
Blair, is from Jamaica. Tony is very talented on the
keyboards and his vocals go with out saying. An ardent
lyricist and songwriter, Tony has been playing keys from
a very early age and his talent and persona never goes
unheard. Chet Samuel is from the enchanted island of
Puerto Rico. He brings a classic yet soulful Caribbean
flavor with his versatile vocals. This son of the soil,
who is also the guitarist in the group, says his vocal
chords are strong as mahogany yet gentle as the
Caribbean Sea. On bass, from the Isle of Spice that is
Grenada, is Kelvin Parks. Since migrating to the U.S. he
has played the hotel circuit both in New York and
Florida. He performed with Tropical Steel, Mattocks
International, and now a permanent member of 506 Crew.
Additional crew members not shown: Dirty Harry is a
20-year veteran who is one of the original Dancehall
Jamaican D.J's. He has toured with top performers coming
out of Jamaica such as Killamanjaro, Super Cat, Early
B., Josey Wales, and many more... Bringing up the rear
from Trinidad & Tobago, on keyboards, is Andre Plata.
This young man has performed with some of the top bands
and performers such as Ajala, Question, Atlantic, Taxi,
Lord Kitchener, Denise Plummer, and has produced for
King Austin. The creative energy that flows through the
unique song writing collaboration of Chet Samuel and
Tony Blair have produced three albums. The first "Talk
It Over" which contains both conscious lyrics and
nostalgia, is performed in a rootsy traditional style.
Their second album "Jah Love" is a must have for the
conscious-minded music lover. 506 Crew is an ever
changing group of individuals that together promise a
natural high, which is delivered through rhythm and
harmony, an undeniable combination. |
